Wheels for Wishes - making dreams come true.

Wheels for Wishes is basically a group of bikers with big hearts. We organise rides for children and families going through some of the hardest times imaginable. Sometimes we’re raising money, sometimes we’re helping make memories, and sometimes we just turn up in numbers to show a family they’re not alone because while we can’t fix what they’re going through, we can give them a day where they feel incredibly special.

That’s why we ride.

Riding for Dreams, Revving for Hope.

When we first started Wheels for Wishes, we just wanted to do something good, get a load of bikers together, make some noise, raise some money, and give kids and families going through absolute hell something to smile about. Then Todd came along, and he changed everything.

Todd was only nine years old, but that little boy completely shifted what Wheels for Wishes meant to us. We rode for him. We raised money for him. And we watched people who had never even met Todd fall in love with him and his family. Bikers turned up. Businesses got involved. People donated what they could. And suddenly there was this massive community all fighting to give one little boy and his family amazing memories.

We couldn’t change what was happening to Todd. God knows we wished we could. We couldn’t make him better, and we couldn’t give his family the ending they deserved but we could show up. We could make Todd feel like an absolute superstar. We could surround his family with hundreds of people who cared.

And Todd bloody loved when those bikes rolled in.

When we lost him at just nine years old, it absolutely broke our hearts. Nine years just wasn’t enough. so we made a promise that Todd’s name wasn’t going to disappear. He wasn’t going to become a photograph from a ride we once did, or a name buried somewhere on our Facebook page. He was going to come with us.

That’s why we are now Wheels for Wishes – Todd’s Legacy. There will be other children we ride for. Other families who become part of our story. We’ll raise money, make memories, make a ridiculous amount of noise, and hopefully put some smiles on faces when they’re needed most. And every single time we do, Todd comes along for the ride.

Because really, that’s what a legacy is. It’s making sure that one little boy who only got nine years on this earth goes on to make a difference to families for years and years to come.

Todd was one of our wishes. Now he’s the reason we’ll keep granting them.
