Veterans Awards Finalist - Thank you

I am extremely honoured to be a finalist in two categories this year for the English Veterans Awards.  

The timing of this year’s awards could not be better for the Lifetime Achievement award I have been nominated for as it comes just after the opening of the Elysium Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in September.  This has been my mission for 5 years now and to have it completed and the work recognised by the Veterans Awards is such an achievement.

The charity’s continuing work of supporting veterans and serving personnel of our armed forces is also recognised in the second category of The Community Award and the whole EMF team are excited about the nomination.

I am very grateful for the nominations and look forward to an evening meeting the other finalists and hearing about their projects and achievements.  It is always a wonderful experience to meet up with others who just want to make things happen to improve the lives of veterans and serving personnel.
