
Edward Mackenzie has served for over 30 years in the British army, 24 years in The Highlanders and is now a Reservist with The Royal Signals. He has been awarded he LSGC and recently awarded bronze for Inspiration of the Year at the Veterans Awards

He has been on 14 Operational tours and has had a varied career across many countries and experiences.

Ed has been supporting veterans for many years, helping with Supporting Wounded Veterans charity, Veterans Breakfast Clubs and with his late father, Motorsport Endeavour for injured veterans.
​
He set up the Elysium Memorial Foundation with Nick and his late Father after losing another fellow Veteran to suicide and has now lost over 20 friends that he served with.
​
He would like all Veterans from all three of the Armed Services, that have taken their own lives, to be remembered on a memorial at the National memorial arboretum. The Elysium Memorial.
